Gone are the days of having a long list of things to remember, the powers that be have made changes to the First Aid procedures that have made them simpler and more easy to remember. Guidelines do change, and it is essential that we all stay up to date with what can and should be done in cases of Emergency.
First Aid essentials useful for anyone. If someone needed first aid, would you know what to do? Moreover, would you know the latest, up to date advice on keeping yourself and others safe? Topics to be covered include: Accident Management, Recovery Position, Resuscitation Techniques, Control of Bleeding, Management of Fractures, Treatment of Burns and Eye Injuries, Treatment of Major Illnesses, Treatment of Miscellaneous Conditions. Achieve a basic qualification that could save somebody's life and avoid you risking your own.
Get updated on the correct procedures to react in the event of an injury or sudden illness.
This course is suitable for all people including:
- staff in any place of work
- those with caring responsibilities
- all members of the public who simply wish to know
N.B. Because the content of this course is so important and essential, Burton Manor is running cheaper, non-accredited versions of this course (First Aid for Everyone) in its brochure, for anyone to benefit. The version here is Accredited and satisfies Health and Safety requirements. The cost here includes certification, HSA approved syllabus, HSA approved tutor.

Everybody should attend this course. It is even fun, but, most importantly, it gives you enough information so you can feel confident should you need to care for someone in an emergency.
